I'm currently trying to take the next step in my career, so I made a Linkedin profile. I've heard a lot about Linkedin and that a lot of good networking opportunities come from it. I came across an article in Ragan's PR Daily website and it's called "8 people you need in your network". I was reading it and I realized it's totally true. I suggest anyone not just in the media industry, but anyone pursuing anything will benefit from reading this article and maybe re-evaluate the people you are surrounded by.
