It all started when I went to Teaopia a few days ago and asked what was the best kind of tea to have for my skin and a fast metabolism, and without hesitation the girl (who was extremely helpful and sweet btw, I should go back there and make her my friend..) suggested I try the Matcha Green Tea.
I had the Matcha Green Tea Latte, with non-fat milk, and it tasted amazing. I've tried matcha before, I don't really remember where or when, but I remember I did like the taste of it. But the latte was so good! Today after I went to the gym (during my break at work, so snaps for me I must say!) I went to Booster Juice and I tried their Mind Over Matcha: Matcha green tea powder, vanilla soymilk, blueberries, vanilla frozen yogurt and whey protein powder. 30g of protein. And it was once again amazing!
So I went home, and did my research and I found out that matcha is extremely healthy for you, and high in antioxidants, it's calming, but at the same time leaves you feel energized. It's so great for your skin and great for your metabolism. It's even better than regular green tea! Although green tea is still great for you, based on what I'm finding, Matcha's even better.
